The recently found mummy is a well-preserved creature that was embalmed very carefully and buried in one of the ancient pyramids. The creature, found to be approximately 5 feet tall between 160 and 150 cm long, was discovered by an archaeological research team led by Czechoslovak archaeologist and retired professor from Pennsylvania State University, Victor Lübeck, during the exploration of a small pyramid near the Seankhenre area near Faiyum.
A source at the Ministry of Egyptian Antiquities, who offered details and pictures of this discovery on condition of anonymity, said, “The mummy dates back to about 2000 or 1880 BC, and it does not resemble a human. Until now, the sex of this creature has not been identified. It does not have external ears, and it has almond-shaped eyes that are very large.
Additionally, some inscriptions in the tomb indicate that the mummy served as an adviser to the king and his name is Osiropt Osirunet, which means ‘star sent from heaven.’ The body has been well embalmed and was buried with great respect and care. Next to the mummy, a number of exotic purposes were found, which are not recognized by one according to the source. The Egyptian archaeologist found a hidden room for burial while exploring a small pyramid located to the south of the pyramid of Senusret II, which was thought to have contained the mummy of a Pharaonic Queen.”
The Egyptian source states, “From the beginning, it was clear that this cemetery held extraordinary individuals. The mummy has been preserved in an extraordinary way, where a combination of gold plating and mud was found on the mummy. Inside the cemetery, contents included purposes made of synthetic materials, which no one can determine what they are. Additionally, a strange machine has been found, forming a complete mystery to us.”
He added, “Throughout my life, I did not see anything like this in any Pharaonic tomb.” He says this discovery caused panic among Egyptians. The government consulted with a number of senior archaeologists, but until now, no one can find a clear explanation for this curious discovery.
